Mesothelioma  symptoms are visibly simple but really dangerous

Mesothelioma symptoms are not identifiable in its early stage. If you are working in an asbestos company and have chest pain and flu better have a checkup. Do not neglect them and consider them as general disease. Do not think that those pains relate to a different disease  There are four forms of mesothelioma and the symptoms differ for each of this form. Here is a mention of the differences. 

Pleural Mesothelioma

  • Chest Pains
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Reduced Chest Expansion
  • Faint or Harsh Breathing Sounds
  • A dry Cough or Wheezing
  • PleA dry Effusions

Caution: As mentioned earlier these symptoms are hidden for years. If the patient with the above symptoms has to check their asbestos levels in the body with their doctor. Doctors will diagnose the symptoms properly and save you from this silent killer.  If found early it extends the lifespan of the patient.

 Peritoneal Mesothelioma

  • Losing weight often
  • Uneasiness in the  Abdomen
  • a Hernia 
  • Loss of appetite 
  • Swelling of the Abdomen
  • Fatigue
  • A feeling fullness of stomach with fluids
  • Obstructions in the bowels

A thick lining around the abdominal cavity, beware of Peritoneal mesothelioma.

Pericardial Mesothelioma

The symptoms are like that of pleural mesothelioma but the cancer is around the lining on the heart and this disease is rarely found.

Testicular Mesothelioma 

As the name implies, over the testis there will be a prominent lump and this symptom conforms to testicular mesothelioma.

Time Span for Mesothelioma Symptoms to Emerge?

It will normally be 20 to 30 years of constant exposure to asbestos that the symptoms will emerge, Till then patient feels negligible illness.  Only at stage III and IV  Most people notice Mesothelioma. It is so dangerous and a silent killer.
